I am so grateful to have a variety of friends in my life. Friends truly are like flowers in the garden of life. There are so many flowers and colors of friendship in my garden.
God has made my garden beautiful and vibrant. I love and appreciate my friends my best friends and my close friends and my once in a blew we hang out friends.
I love that all my friendships aren't the same but different in various ways. I love to know that there I have so many friends. I believe that God provides friends to remind me how much He loves me no matter what's happening in my life.
Truly my garden of friends is bright and colorful. Each friend is very special to me.
I love my 2 Corinthians 1:4 friends whom out if the comfort they received from God are able to comfort me in my times of troubles.
My Galatians 6:2 friends whom have cried with me when sorrow and pain are in my life.
The friends who it just feel like we were twins separated at birth ( in the words of my friend Valerie Derry).
I love my 1 John 4:20 friends that even thought we didn't like each other at the beginning because of our love for God we watered our friendship and did some weeding around it and it now blooms beautifully.
The friends that seem to be always available for a last minute breakfast, lunch or hot dessert!!
The friends that when I am running to do an errand and I will love some company I can call at the last minute and I know that 80% of the time they will be available.
The late night owl friends; the ones that seem to never sleep and are available to chat no matter what's the time.
The frozen yogurt lovers friends, that will go every week and be exited to meet there every time I say ; want to go for frozen yogurt or Rita's when I lived in Connecticut.
The Proverbs 27:17 friends that tell me what I need to hear not what I want to hear.
The friends that love to have fun because when I am down they know how to share me up.
The friends that know me so well and can immediately notice when I am not myself and sends me a text in the middle of church asking if I am ok?
My 1 Thessalonians 5:11 friends that calls me out if the blue because she was thinking of me or messages me on Facebook with encouragement that I was not expecting.
My Galatians 5:13 friends that tells me not to cook because today she cooked for me.
The friends to whom I am so special every time they see me and makes me feel like a super star because during fellowship break at church they search me out to give me a quick hug.
The friends that when we are on the phone we both have to set a timer because we could talk for hours and be engage in the conversation the entire time. Which makes me think of the friend and never fails that we say by to each other and then one says "I have one more thing I forgot or a quick question" and the we talk for whole other hour. Lol!! There are a few friends that immediately came in my mind as I write this.
The friend that calls and say I really can't talk or I only have a minute but I just wanted to call and say hello.
My Hebrews 10:24 friends who are always having visions for me to grow and be more like Christ.
My 1 Peter 4:8 friends that forgives me when I do something stupid and hurt their feelings because they love me.
My James 5:16 friends whom we don't talk all the time but will out if the blue come and tell me how they are always praying for my children, my husband and me.
The friend that I got to her house because she wasn't feeling good and we end up taking a nap together ( this is a new friend and I love her)
My 1 Peter 4:9 friends who are not afraid on a regular basis to invite my entire family over her house for dinner!!!
The friends that teaches me new hobbies.
The friends that aren't scared of my temper tantrums.
The friends that love me at all times!!!
Why am I thinking of friends because as I lay on my couch I was feeling sad because I was missing some specific friendships and then I realize that without my Best Friend " Jesus" I will not have any of the friends I have, because I was so hurt to trust anyone before meeting Jesus that it feels good to know and trust that there are people seeking true and genuine friendships.
There are people that want a true friend and want to be a true friend to someone, they just don't know how to go about it. I sure didn't. I more grateful today that I was the day I read it for Jesus prayer in John 15:6-26. His prayer changed my life!!!
I thank God for giving me amazing friends and teaching me everyday how to be a better friend to my friends, and how to embrace new friends.
I am specially grateful that I have in Him a friend who will love me at all times and always provides me with what I need and some of the things I want and I love how He does a lot of it by keeping my garden of friends full and fresh!!!
Thank God for Friends!!!
