I use to think that only untrained children are disrescpectfull and disobey over and over, until one of my kids was suspended from school for a day. I use to think that only teens who parents don't talk to them do drugs until one of experimented with drugs. I use to think that only husbands that there wife doesn't take care of themselves in a physical sense struggle with lust until mine did, I used to think that if you have an amazing husband who listens to you and protects you will never make you look at another man again in a romantic way until I did, I used to think people with tattoos lack spiritual convictions until I did. I judge yet I learned that by doing so I could miss out on some amazing experiences, deep lessons and incredible friendships. No wonder God say do not judge.
When I learned to stop judging I met a lady whose appearance may not be desirible but has a heart of gold and opens her home to the needy; I met a mother who spends endless time giving to her children and her children chose to live a life of disobedience to God; I met teens who desire to do what is right but I constantly pull by peer pressure to chosse drugs, alcohol and sex; I met a husband who loves his wife with all his heart he think she is the most beautiful things in the world yet past choices cause him to struggle with lust; I met a wife who believe her husband adores her she feel like a precious pearl in his eyes yet media is always making him less than he really is; I met a lady with a tatto who loves God follow his word in fact the tatto she has represents her love for God and her husband. This women blows me away for she if I judge her base on what I see I will never learned from her or think she is awesome, yet that women is me. I learned the less I judge myself the less I will judge other people. Gods word is true we can't love our neighbors unless we love ourselves because in loving ourselves we will see our neighbors.
The Bible works if we put it into practice. Jesus said, " Love the Lord your God with all you passio and prayer and muscle and intelligence and that you love your neighbor as well as you do yourself." Luke 10:27
To love our neighbor, that includes to me everyone that is not me, I must first love God and then love and accept myself. The less I judge myself the less I will judge my neighbor.
